Join us. Transform lives. Enrich your own.

Aashray Care Home has long welcomed volunteers—both local and international—who bring energy, skills, compassion, and new ideas. We offer safe, supported, meaningful opportunities year-round. If you believe in hope, dignity, and care, then you have a place here.

What We Offer

    • On-Campus Volunteering with Accommodation & Meals: For those coming from outside Jaipur (or abroad), we provide on-campus lodging, proper meals, and safe living arrangements. Whether you stay a few weeks or several months, we ensure your comfort and well-being.
    • Mentorship, Learning & Support: Every volunteer is paired with a mentor. You’ll receive orientation, ongoing guidance, and support in your tasks and responsibilities. It’s more than volunteering—it’s learning and growing together.
    • Flexible Roles & Projects: We believe all skills matter. You might help with direct care, educational support, health-awareness, creative workshops, documentation, digital media, or community outreach. Based on your interests, we match you to roles where you can make the greatest impact.
    • Cultural Exchange & Real Connection: At Aashray, we don’t just invite help—we welcome friendship. Shared meals, celebrations, walks, storytelling—these are moments where volunteers and children connect across backgrounds, building understanding and compassion.

How You Can Help

Here are practical ways to volunteer. Pick what feels right for you:

    • Assist in daily care: cooking, serving meals, distributing medication, laundry, cleaning
    • Spend time with children: homework help, storytelling, art & crafts, playtime, games
    • Lead or support workshops: hygiene, nutrition, HIV awareness, life skills, arts, sports
    • Create memories: organize and help with birthday celebrations, outings, creative events
    • Media & Documentation: photography, video stories, social media, blog posts
    • Fundraising & Networking: campaign support, donor outreach, events

Logistics & Commitments

Duration & Timing: Stays from 1-week, 1-month, or longer. We have ongoing need, so flexible schedules are welcome.

Fees & Charges: A nominal fee covers accommodation, meals, and mentorship while you are onsite. This helps sustain our facilities and ensures quality.

Orientation & Safety: Before you begin, you’ll receive a volunteer orientation, background checks (if required), and briefings in child protection, safety, and our code of conduct.

Health & Wellbeing: Volunteers are expected to follow health guidelines. For international volunteers, we assist with local health facility linkages if needed.

Question Answer
Do you accept international volunteers? Yes. We assist with orientation, stay, and local arrangements. Visa and travel are the volunteer’s responsibility.
Is there a minimum stay? At least one week, but longer stays are valuable. We adapt to your availability.
Can I volunteer remotely? Some roles—like social media, documentation, fundraising—can be done remotely; but onsite work is our core need.
What safety measures are in place? We have child protection policies, mentorship, health safety protocols, and rules of conduct. Safety and dignity are our priorities.
