Become a Volunteer

There were hundreds of foreign volunteers who volunteered with Aashray Care Home. Separate stay arrangements with proper meals, safe leaving places are available for local and foreign volunteers who seek to work for our various projects. These on campus places are available round the year and the work availability is ranging from personal caring activities for children, women and cows in the farmland to the documentation, report writing, social media handling and other networking activities. Nominal charges against meals, accommodation and mentoring fees will be charged from the volunteer. Apply here for on campus volunteering.

There are many ways in which you can positively contribute to the children’s lives as a volunteer. Ways you can help include

• Taking care of the children: cooking, serving food, distributing medication, washing clothes, cleaning, or counseling
• Visiting with the children on a regular basis: spending time with them at the park, drawing with them, playing with them, or helping them with their homework
• Holding workshops for children or staff: cooking, good hygiene, HIV or sexual education
• Fundraising for the well-being of children
• Organizing special happenings: birthdays, children’s day celebration or outings
